Thawing out in California

So we were all complaining how stinking cold it is up here in Logan. I think Dave got tired of it so he rented a beach house in San Diego for the week. It was just the thing we all needed. We had a blast, we went to Lego Land, San Diego Zoo, The Children's Museum and rode bikes along the beach front to Mission Bay. The Robertson's had us over for a fabulous dinner, it was so fun catching up with them. We wish we lived just a little bit closer. Now we are hoping that Spring is just around the corner for us.

How wonderful! It looks like you had a great time. I too am REALLY hoping that Spring is coming soon! Especially after the over foot of snow that got dumped on us yesterday! How nice to get to go somewhere warmer for a bit. :)

It is great to see your family again. Your kids and family are adorable. It is crazy how time flies. It's nice to reconnect with you. We actually live in Colorado Springs, CO, but are moving back to San Antonio in June for Joseph to do an allergy/immunology fellowship there. Right now he is at the Air Force Academy as a pediatrician!! So what did David go into? I see you made it back to Utah. Sounds like life is great!!

I had to check to be sure the roller coaster wasn't made our of legos! hahaha... Anyway, I'm glad you guys all had fun. :0)

Thank you for taking a vacation, now I can live vicariously, through your family photos, and since their digital I can edit and head swap them and have Dawn make a scrap book page. When the kids are older we'll have proof;)

What a fun vacation. I have always wanted to check out Lego Land.

In New England they have a week long break in February so everyone can go someplace warm...but we stayed in the cold :)
